George: I'd rather be a musician than a rock star.
George: The biggest break in my career was getting into The Beatles in 1963. The second biggest break was getting out of them.
George: My friends were really John, Paul, and Ringo. We all moved at the same time. I do miss Liverpool.
George: Although Christ, in my mind is an absolute Yogi, I think many Christian teachers today are misrepresenting Christ.
Ringo: America: It's like Britain, only with buttons.
(spoken shortly after the birth of his son, Zak, in 1965) Ringo: I won't let Zak be a drummer!
Ringo: For me, meditation is a break from thinking. The benefits to me are quieting my mind and soul down.
Ringo: I promise you: I'll not be having anymore tattoos. In '76, there was no pain. In '94-lots of pain. ( i didnt know Ringo had tattos!)
Ringo: If Paul sent me a card today with one of his little drawings on it, it'd be on eBay by Wednesday.
Ringo: We did have big fights, but we still loved each other. We split up, and it was about time. But there was still lots of contact.
Paul: We didn't all get into music for a job! We got into music to avoid a job, in truth - and get lots of girls.
Paul: Somebody said to me, 'But the Beatles were anti-materialistic.' That's a huge myth. John and I literally used to sit down and say, 'Now, let's write a swimming pool.
Paul: By the time we made "Abbey Road", John and I were openly critical of each other's music, and I felt John wasn't much interested in performing anything he hadn't written himself.
Paul: It was Elvis who really got me hooked on beat music. When I heard "Heartbreak Hotel" I thought, this is it.

I like this one from George:
“The Beatles exist apart from my Self. I am not really Beatle George. Beatle George is like a suit or shirt that I once wore on occasion and until the end of my life people may see that shirt and mistake it for me.”

Guess that could be a problem for him, always beeing known as Beatle-George. Goes for everyone I guess.

Yes, I get the same problem. When I walk down the street people call me Lennypane but they don't realise, it's just a user name on a forum - it's not really who I am!

What is this about an annual illness, George? George: I get cancer every year.
"Rap is just computerized crap. I listen to Top of the Pops and after three songs I feel like killing someone." -George Harrison
"I'd like to think that the old Beatle fans have grown up and they've got married and they've all got kids and they're all more responsible, but they still have a place in their hearts for us."-George Harrison
"I think people who can truly live a life in music are telling the world, "You can have my love, you can have my smiles. Forget the bad parts, you don't need them. Just take the music, the goodness, because it's the very best, and it's the part I give most willingly." -George Harrison
